Interwoven is a creative initiative by the Design Institute of Australia.
Interwoven 2013 is an inspiring exhibition that brings together a creative force of designers across textiles, fashion and art from QLD, NSW and Victoria. This is a unique platform for designers and artists who work with different media to come together to explore their creativity and to connect with both the design industry and the general public.

Art based fashion with eco-intent. This is a fantastic group of designers. The designers involved in 'Circle of Designers' are working with eco-friendly textiles and dies, respecting how things are made in the supply chain. They create and design fabrics made into women’s fashion garments, bags and soft furnishings. Each designer is from a different creative background and brings a signature look and feel to their independent fabric range which creates a wonderful variety and arty signature to the fashion range.

Phillippa is an industrial designer based in Sydney. She designs and exhibits her sculpture and jewellery which has been driven by a great respect for the mathematical laws of the universe. In recent creations her inspiration has focused on the geometry of flora and fauna. Her beautiful jewellery involves layering formal geometric forms with organic etchings of plants and bees. Her website shows more examples of her work.
